A great achievement to Geetu Mohandas' Hindi film 'Liar's Dice'.The movie is a road drama about a tribal woman's journey to find her missing husband who has failed to return his home after leaving to work in Delhi. Directed by Geetu Mohandas 'Liar's Dice' has been selected officially as best foreign film category at the Oscar 2015 awards beating 29 other movies including 'Mary Kom'.Geetanjali Thapa and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are in the leading roles in the movie. Theplot of the movie is Set near the Indo-Tibetan border, in a small village.
The leading role Thapa decides to go in search of her missing husband to Delhi with her young daughter. The story includes the struggle in the roads.
The film released in January won the National award for best actress to Geetanjali Thapa and best cinematography award to Geetu Mohandas' cinematographer husband Rajeev Ravi.
The 87th Academy awards will take place on 22of February.
